Copán: Washed Coffee from Western Honduras
Copán is produced by members of APROCACERCHIL, a cooperative of more than 170 coffee-growing families in western Honduras. Through centralized processing, quality control, and organic fertilizer production, the cooperative helps producers focus on careful farm management and harvesting only the ripest cherries. This collaborative approach has established APROCACERCHIL as a respected source of high-quality coffee while supporting sustainable coffee production throughout the region.
About Copán
Grown in the Copán region of western Honduras at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 1,700 metres above sea level, this coffee benefits from a favourable climate and diverse growing conditions. APROCACERCHIL brings together smallholder producers who share resources and expertise, creating consistency and quality across the cooperative's membership.
By centralizing processing and quality management, the cooperative enables farmers to focus on cultivation practices that improve both productivity and cup quality.
Cooperative Processing & Quality Control
Coffee cherries are carefully harvested and delivered to APROCACERCHIL's centralized processing facility, where strict quality standards ensure consistency from farm to export. The cooperative's focus on processing, quality control, and producer support has helped elevate the reputation of coffees from the region.
This lot is fully washed, a process that highlights balance, sweetness, and clarity in the cup while maintaining a clean finish.
Flavour Profile
Copán offers a classic and comforting cup with notes of milk chocolate, almond butter, and toffee. A smooth body and gentle acidity create an approachable profile, while lingering sweetness makes this coffee equally enjoyable as a filter brew or espresso.

- Comforting and approachable: Balanced sweetness with classic chocolate and nut notes.
- Cooperative-driven quality: Produced by more than 170 farming families working together.
- Sustainably focused: Centralized resources support quality, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Please note that all ground coffee purchases are final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange. Because ground coffee is prepared specifically to your selected grind size, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges once the package has been opened or shipped.
If you're unsure of your grind preference, we recommend choosing whole bean coffee for maximum flexibility and freshness.
