Discover coffee in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Our Coffee Tasting Experience is a relaxed, engaging two-and-a-half-hour guided tasting designed for anyone who wants to better understand not only what’s in the cup, but understand the journey of seed to cup. Whether you’re just getting curious or already well down the rabbit hole, this experience will sharpen your palate and deepen your appreciation for coffee and the dedicated producers.
Join Poul Mark, the founder of Transcend Coffee, as he employs his twenty years of experience in the specialty coffee industry. He will lead you on a journey into the world coffee drawing from his experiences around the world and his expertice as a coffee professional.
Held on Saturdays from 4:30 PM to around 7:00 PM, this class explores coffee from every angle. We’ll taste a selection of different coffees side by side and talk through what shapes their flavour, from origin and variety to processing, roasting, and brewing.
You’ll learn how to taste coffee more intentionally, how to recognize differences between coffees, and how to put words to what you’re experiencing without sounding like you’re auditioning for a wine catalogue.
Along the way, we’ll explore:
- how origin, processing, and variety affect flavour
- how roasting influences sweetness, acidity, and body
- what to look for when tasting coffee
- why some coffees taste fruity, floral, chocolatey, or nutty
- what makes specialty coffee special
This is not a lecture with a few sips on the side. It’s a hands-on tasting experience built around curiosity, conversation, and great coffee.
You’ll leave with:
- a better understanding of coffee and flavour
- a memorable guided tasting experience
- a sample of coffee to take home

International shipping (outside Canada)
International shipping is limited and availability can change. If you’re outside Canada and can’t check out, email info@transcendcoffee.com with your country and postal code and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Returns & refunds
