No matter how you choose to get to Edmonton, your route most likely takes you through Gateway Boulevard. The name serves as a reminder of Edmonton’s status as the gateway to the north of Canada. Like its namesake, our Gateway blend strives to be a lodestar on your journey through craft coffee. We’ve chosen coffees that we feel create a classic and comforting flavour profile of rich chocolate, warming baking spices and classic nuttiness, with just enough sweetness underneath to wrap everything together nicely. We’ve roasted a little bit longer to create a syrupy mouthfeel that will leave a lasting impression. Whether you’re taking your first steps into craft coffee or you’re an experienced traveller, Gateway is a familiar place for a comfortable stay.

Tasty!

Enjoying this blend as an espresso. Nice flavor profile and balanced acidity. Not overly complex, but a good quality, go-to. Well worth trying.

Chocolicious

I love this blend as it is bold, chocolatey and smooth. I have it with almond milk, or black, and sometimes, with a dash of cinnamon to enliven my taste buds. It is consistently a delicious brew!!😋

Delicious!

I am new to the "home barista" thing and recently bought a prosumer-type espresso machine and grinder. I was interested in this coffee and had a wonderful conversation with a barista at the Ritchie location. She gave me excellent information on how to pull a good shot. As well, the information provided on the website for this particular coffee was extremely useful! Knowing where to start is half the battle as a beginner. After about 5 tries I had it close to dialled-in following the 19.5 grams in and 39 grams out in 31-32 seconds and it was delicious as a latte! I will certainly be back for the coffee and fantastic customer service!
