Tarrazu Santos is a high-quality blend of coffee from three different producers in the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica. While the focus for the past number of years has been on single-origin coffees, we have discovered the value associated with some high-quality blenders. These coffees are slightly less unique but still possess all of the characteristics we appreciate in the coffees we select from Costa Rica.
Francisco and his team work with the producers from this region to assemble offerings that are both high-quality and value driven. The result is a distinctly Tarrazu flavour profile consisting of clean acidity, spice, brown sugar sweetness and juicy fruit. Tarrazu is considered to be one of the most desirable regions for Costa Rica coffee and it is one of the reasons we have chosen to feature this quality blend as a seasonal espresso.

We want to draw your attention to a subtle change on our labels, all of our labels now include both filter and espresso symbols. The reason for this is simple: all of our coffees have been prepared so that they are well suited to any brewing method. Different brewing methods will highlight different aspects of our coffees, making each brew unique. We will continue to classify any coffees we deem especially suited for brewing espresso.
