Coffee Beans FAQs

How fresh are your coffee beans when they ship?
We roast in small batches in Edmonton and ship as soon as possible after roasting. Most orders leave our roastery within a few business days so your coffee arrives fresh and ready to brew.

Do your coffees work for both filter and espresso?
Yes. All of our coffees are roasted to be versatile, so you can brew them as espresso, in a Moccamaster, as pour-over, or in a French press.

Can I get my coffee ground?
Yes. When you add a coffee to your cart, choose the grind size that matches your brewing method, or select whole bean if you prefer to grind at home.

What if I’m new to specialty coffee?
Start with blends like Argyll or Gateway, or choose a flavour profile that matches what you usually enjoy—chocolatey and nutty, or bright and fruity. From there, you can explore more seasonal and adventurous single origins.
