This is a sentimental coffee for us at Transcend. We’ve been buying coffee from Jaime’s Sin Limites mill since 2009 and Transcend baristas have used his coffees in competition many times. In February 2018, Jaime presented Transcend with a gift of 20 lbs of the first harvest of his SL 28 trees. We took it to be dry-milled at Exclusive and enjoyed it so much that we bought more of it in 2019 and again this year! This is a brilliant red honey process that contains all of the best qualities of the SL 28 variety (think juicy berries and currants) with the deeper sweetness that expert honey processing can bring out. The complexity and balance of the flavours in this coffee are truly worthy of its place in our reserve lineup.
